Junaid Baghdādi Rahmatullah Alaih once said, “Allāh Subhanahu wa ta’ala strengthens, through these Islamic stories, the hearts of His friends, as proven from the following Qur’anic verse,
“And all that We narrate unto you of the stories of the Messengers, so as to strengthen through it your heart.” (11:120)
Mālik Ibn Dinār Rahmatullah Alaih stated that such stories are gifts from Paradise. He also emphasised to narrate these stories as much as possible as they are gems and it is possible that an individual might find a truly rare and invaluable gem among them.
The presentation of ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ has been a continuing process since it was first published more than a decade ago. Therefore, my teacher, Shaykh Mufti Saiful Islām Sāhib decided to compile all previous four ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ books into one book, making it reader-friendly and accessible. Mufti Sāhib has also made this book more unique in its appearance, its presentation of the stories as well as including other different incidents and passages relevant to this time and age to benefit our readers.
