Andalus (modern-day Spain), the long lost history, was once a country that produced many great calibre of Muslim scholars comprising of Mufassirūn, Muhaddithūn, Fuqahā, judges, scientists, philosophers,  surgeons, to name but a few. The Muslims conquered Andalus in 711 AD and ruled over it for eight-hundred years. This was known as the era of Muslim glory.  Many non-Muslim Europeans during that time travelled to Spain to study under Muslim scholars. The remanences of the Muslim rule in Spain are manifested through their universities, magnificent palaces and Masājid carved with Arabic writings, standing even until today.

Shaykh Mufti Saiful Islām Sāhib travelled to Spain for a few days to explore this rich heritage and share some of his experiences. Pictures of the Masājid, palaces and universities are presented in this book with detailed explanation. This book is a must for those interested in Islamic history, especially the forgotten glory of Spain.
