Many of us may feel we are living in difficult times, and adhering to the commands of Allāh subhanahu wa ta’ala becomes gruelling and burdensome. Carrying out the mandatory practices is seen by some as a great inconvenience to the extent that they are abandoned altogether. We need to realise where our salvation and success lie and change our lives in order to please Allāh subhanahu wa ta’ala.
