Īmān (faith in Allāh subhanahu wa ta’ala) is the key to salvation. Without it, our actions have no value. Everything depends on the sincerity of faith. For this reason, the first of the five foundational pillars of Islām is the shahādah (the declaration of faith).

This beautiful book presents the fundamental beliefs of Islām in a very simple yet concise manner, covering the essentials of the Islamic Faith. In my humble opinion, this handbook is ideal as a first read of the Islamic Creed and suitable for English-speaking Muslims aged ten and above.
